In the summer of 2007, I was introduced to Arbonne by my now very dear friend EDM Suzie Miller. At the time, I wasn't looking for a business opportunity. I wasn't even aware that I was looking for skin care. We were just getting to know each other when she offered that I try the NutriminC RE9 kit for a few days. I was surprised at how incredible my sensitive skin felt after only a week. Having struggled with rosacea and oily skin for most of my adult life I was not prepared for the transformation that occured. At that point I knew I would support my friend in her endeavor as I prepared to go back to work in the fall teaching middle school after being home for 2 years with my two beautiful daughters.

I knew the transition would be difficult putting my youngest in preschool and my oldest back in school after homeschooling. I wasn't prepared for exactly how hard it would be. I would leave in the morning before my kids were awake and when I got home well past 6:30, I felt as if I had nothing else to give anyone, let alone my own children. Where would i be 5 years from now?

This question haunted me. My dreams had faded away and I was resolved that this must be my lot in life and as I watched my life and my children's lives flash before my eyes, I reached out to my friend. "Tell me more about what you do?" Never had I seriously considered an opportunity in this industry. The more I read however, the more I was convinced that this could be my Plan B. Not something I had studied in school or something I had ever dreamed of doing, but a vehicle to achieving my dreams, my family's dreams and helping others do the same. In the short time since starting my business I have grown more than in the past several years combined. My personal transformation began in October of 2007. I continue to experience the postive influence of this company in all facets of my life including the personal growth that I was not prepared for. It is so thrilling to watch my business grow as I do. I have remembered how to dream and my life is full of color again.
